We have a new opportunity available within the Business Intelligence function at Yodel. The purpose of the role is to design, build and support dash boarding and analysis in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are but not limited to:

  • Contributing to requirements analysis and documentation
  • Build of analyses and dashboards
  • Involved in design reporting layer
  • Involved in the unit and system testing of developed product
  • Provide out of hours support with these processes
  • Qualifications/Training:
  • Graduate with an IT background
  • Essential Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within OBIEE
  • Experience within SQL development in Teradata, Oracle or MS SQL
  • Able to extract and build requirements
  • Strong communicator
  • Experience of Data Warehousing
  • Desirable Experience and Skills
  • Experience with Teradata
  • Experience in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Experience of upgrading to OBIEE 12c

Technical Skills needed but not limited to:

  • Strong development knowledge with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
  • Strong knowledge of building RPD layer
  • Experience of developing SQL queries

Hermes UK has opened its new purpose built, automated parcel distribution hub in Rugby, the biggest of its kind in the UK. The £31m (US$40m) development represents the most significant investment in the company’s history and will create more than 100 jobs. UPS delivery drivers trained using VR simulations

UPS has announced that it will start training student delivery drivers to spot and identify road hazards using virtual reality (VR) headsets that simulate the experience of driving on city streets. The company will launch VR training at nine UPS Integrad training facilities in September.
