UK Mail has announced major changes to its senior management structure, including the appointment of Martin Rantle as vice president of sales, Scott Laird as vice president of operations, and the promotion of Ros Hunt to vice president of marketing.

Rantle will be responsible for driving growth across the parcels business and will utilize nearly 30 years’ experience in various senior positions in TNT in the UK, Europe, Americas and Asia. Recently he held board positions at GEFCO UK and Palletline UK and Europe.

With 12 years’ experience in the UK Mail business, Laird is now responsible for all aspects of operations including security, health and safety and network development. Promoted from director of marketing, Hunt will now take on additional responsibility for customer service and product development, with a mandate to ensure the business responds to market trends and changing customer needs.

Peter Fuller, CEO, UK Mail, said, “Following the acquisition by Deutsche Post DHL Group, the business has seen significant growth and we have even more ambitious targets for the years ahead. The new management structure and the promotion of my experienced colleagues will ensure we’re in a strong position to capitalize on new opportunities and growth in the market.”
