EuroSort, sorter science

Accurate, Reliable, Sustainable

Based on a focus on inventing, developing, and innovating, Eurosort sorting machines are unique in the industry. Reputable large postal, courier, and express companies are using the Eurosort high capacity sorting machines worldwide. EuroSort is the well-known, Netherland based, sorting system company specializing in high volume single item sorting systems. Eurosort sorting systems are highly accurate, reliable and can be implemented through system integrators worldwide.

Innovation and patents

As evidenced by the company’s tag line: “Sorter Science” Eurosort focusses on sorting machines, improvements on technical features, product safety, and continuously improving sorting systems operations to make the Eurosort systems easier and increasingly reliable (up to 99.999%). As part of their ongoing innovation process Eurosort redeveloped the driving mechanism for its sorting systems. Eurosort’s new friction drive system allows complete flexibility of layout and system level design where only the dimensions of the customer’s distribution center are the limit of sorter layout. The new drive system also allows for the possibility to incline, decline, turn left and turn right all in the same sorter. With these innovations it is possible to design the most creative layouts to optimize the customers’ facility. There are a number of patents registered by Eurosort worldwide on improving accuracy and reliability of sorting. One example is the Eurosort linked tray opening which is responsible for Eurosort’s outstanding sorting accuracy and space saving drop centers.

Working in and for a sustainable environment

Ergonomics and security are standard issues for innovation. On the Eurosort sorting machines safety is guaranteed by CE certification. System security checks through sensors, emergency stops, and extra protection modules enhance security for the user. Ergonomics are always considered in Eurosort designs and tailored specifically for the working environment of Eurosort customers. EuroSort sorters are well known for the sustainable use of materials such as aluminium and their low use of power consumption. Low energy consumption and the simplicity to replace damaged and worn parts by Eurosort customer’s maintenance staff result in a low total cost of ownership for the user.
